- The Director, Website Development,
for a global information services company. Brought in from the outside,
her assimilation and acclimation were difficult and slow, resulting
in an initiative being well behind schedule. By collecting relevant
information quickly, and utilizing it appropriately in a focused developmental
effort, her leadership was quickly established and the project was ultimately
delivered on time with her contribution widely recognized.
- The Senior Vice President for Financial
Planning for a major division of a financial services company.
Technically brilliant, with an apparent low tolerance for others perceived
to be less able to perform, she was becoming ineffective due to loss
of staff and constant conflicts with others. A concerted effort, including
extensive practice sessions, transformed her communication and interaction
focus from inward to outward, ultimately resulting in her promotion
to Senior Vice President and Comptroller for the corporation.
- The Vice President of Marketing
for a major pharmaceutical company whose 360° review clearly evidenced
the need for dramatic improvement in his self-management and leadership
skills. Working directly with him, and through his peers and manager,
his "skill and will" have measurably increased.
- The President of the major revenue producing
group in a fast-growing marketing communications firm whose extraordinary
ability and willingness was outpacing her team's ability to keep up.
Using both transformational and transactional coaching, we have been
able to align her leadership with the team's needs, resulting in higher
performance enhanced by increasing fulfillment.
